Our approach
Chess strategy at checkers speed™
How we think and how we move.
The idea
Depth without paralysis.
Great chess players think several moves ahead. They weigh how each decision ripples outward, what new problems a solution might create, and where the board will sit three turns from now. That depth is meaningful, but depth without motion is just paralysis.
Checkers rewards the opposite instinct. See the opening, take the jump, keep moving. We bring both. We think with the rigor of a chess player and move with the momentum of checkers, thoughtful enough to anticipate what most people miss, fast enough to act while the opening is still there.
The intersection
The board, then the move.
In practice this shows up in how we shape strategy, run product conversations, and diagnose problems. We map the board before we touch a piece, then we make the move that opens the game up.
When we work with a healthcare organization, we look for the position others have missed: the incentive that is quietly misaligned, the friction no one has named yet, and the fastest honest path to acting on it.
Continuous learning and evolution
We come to every engagement ready to learn.
We will never claim to have the whole ecosystem or the supply chain figured out.
What we can say with confidence is that we have mastered the parts that carry across every problem: critical thinking, the ability to work on teams and with people, and the willingness to have the harder conversations it takes to get to the bottom of what is going on. From there we use first-principles thinking to build new value, reasoning up from what is true rather than copying what already exists.
This mindset shows up in the work.
It runs underneath every engagement.See what we offer and how to bring us in.
